| Deals on Rental Cars
We have negotiated special "regatta pricing" with two rental car companies: Majestic Car Rental Group and with Thrifty Car Rentals. Majestic Car Rental,
a Vermont owned and operated car rental agency, is offering special
rates for participants of the Lightning Worlds Sailing Championships and
their guests. These special
rates apply from September 1 through September 25.
Majestic is conveniently located on route 7 in Burlington and
arrangements can be made to deliver rental vehicles to Burlington
International Airport or local hotels. Information regarding

. Reservations can be made through the website or by calling Majestic at
802-860-7300. If booking by
website, be sure to write Champ Sails 2009 in the comment section
of the reservation. This
will alert Majestic to the special pricing that is available for regatta
participants. Although you
will receive a confirmation through email with the standard rental
rates, you will be sent an additional email with the special pricing
that has been provided for you. If
participants would rather call, Majestic will be happy to book the
reservation over the phone. Again, it will be important to mention that you are a
participant of the World Sailing Championship, Lightning Series or
Champ Sails 2009 to receive the special pricing. Champ Sails 2009 Rates:
Thrifty is offering a discount for car rentals. Cars can be
picked up in Burlington, Hartford or Boston anytime between September
15-26, 2009.
