General Regatta Information Welcome to the 2009 Worlds. The Malletts Bay Boat Club and the Greater Burlington area are great places to visit, so you should plan on bringing your family along to the regatta. There are many things to do in the area: hiking, biking, shopping, museums, restaurants, and many great tourist places to visit. We will have a mix of social events at the club and "free evenings" to enjoy the many great local eateries. There are lots of hotels and motels in the area as well as camping, bed and breakfasts and some lakefront cottage rentals. You should make your reservations early, as September is high tourist season in Vermont. We are trying to offer free housing to all overseas competitors who register prior to May 1, 2009 and preference will be given to early registrants. All registration will be done on-line and the order of registration will also be your bow number. Order of registration will also determine order of preference for charter boats, give you better dock slips, and put you in line for free housing. Register early!!! Please check this page frequently for updated information. |
