| 15SEP08 Launching Malletts Bay Boat Club has a hoist and gin pole. We can start launching boats any time after noon on Thursday. All boats should plan to be in the water by Friday night.
Thursday Evening Race Our Club hosts a midweek race series on Thursday night that you are welcome to participate in.
Moorings It may be necessary to raft boats together on the moorings. Please bring extra fenders just in case.
Weigh-in We will be weighing in crew between 11am and 8pm on Friday. We will also be weighing people Saturday morning between 7 and 8 am by appointment only.
Practice Race The NOR scheduled a practice race at 1800 on Friday. This race has been cancelled and has been replaced with a BBQ at MBBC. The cost for the BBQ is $5/person.
Lunches There are a couple of good places near by to order lunches. I will have more info at Registration.
Dinner Saturday Night Each registration includes dinner for 5 on Saturday night. Please let me know as soon as possible if you need extra dinner tickets. They are $10.00 per person.
Haul Out We will be hauling boats based on distance travelled. The haul out order will be posted on the event notice board.
Awards Every boat participating will be getting an award. Please make sure you have someone available to pick up your prize!
Booze at MBBC Malletts Bay Boat Club does not have a liquor license and Vermont’s liquor laws are rather draconian. What this means is that we can’t supply beer; you have to bring your own. What it also means is that you drink what ever and how much you want. There is a liquor store right across the street from the Club (how convenient) and you can buy beer in any store (and on Sunday).

Are you also Racing in Lake George? You are welcome to leave your boat and tow vehicle at MBBC for the week. There may also be an opportunity to have your boat moved to Lake George for you. Contact me for details.
Hawthorn Suites
We have a group rate of $199/night (the regular rate is at least $225/night). This includes a hot breakfast buffet. Please call (802)-860-1212 to book your reservations as soon as possible. You will need to tell them you are part of the J24 Regatta for the group rate. This rate is available through 20AUG08.
