Sub Committee Descriptions for 2005

Whaler/Mooring Puller: Responsible for keeping the boats ready to go with full gas tanks, water craft in safe and operative condition.
Chairs: Bill Whalen, Allan Botula

This group keeps the HC members safe on the water. They are the ones that make sure we do not run out of gas. They are the ones who make sure we have all the tools we need when we need them. It is critical that other sub committees stay in touch with this group to assure proper operation and readiness of water craft.

Shed: Responsible for keeping shed in organized fashion
Chair: Bob Kenney

Create and install old hardware board. Add concrete guard for corner of shed.

Scuba Air Tanks: Responsible for keeping tanks inspected annually, and in top operating condition and full.
Chair: Curt Wheeler

This group stays in daily communication with the sub chairs who’s projects involve compressed air. Tanks are delivered daily to Waterfront Diving or Victory Sports, for refill when harbor projects are going on.

100' Grid Moorings Installed: Responsible for laying out, arrangement of concrete blocks installation and mooring line installation
Chair: Jon Fick

This group has installed 2 new member moorings in the 100' grid this season. This involved positioning time, ground tackle custom made up and installation of block.

Hazelett Maintenance: Responsible for keeping the hazeletts in operational condition. This includes Spring time repair from snowmobile damage, tagging for identification, ballasting
Chair: George Molla

Any red tags that were lost over the winter will be replaced. The tags are presently attached to the hazeletts with a stainless steel ring. The tags will be moved directly to the hazelett pin.

Annual Inspections: Responsible for inspection of the mooring field.
Chair: Jon Fick

This group is inspecting the entire mooring field this summer to assure the mooring fields complete safety.
