6:40 PM Meeting was called to order.

1. Jean Pierre Turgeon from Canada spoke briefly at the beginning to promote Lake

    Champlain Race Week which includes Mayor’s Cup - July 12, Valcour Race

    - July 13 and the possibility of a Friday evening race beforehand was

    discussed.

      2. Gene Cloutier resigned from LC-PHRF after many years of dedicated service.

          Tony Lamb will be replacing him as the new LCYC representative.

3. Officers for 2008 were elected:

            Chairman: Chris Duley - VSC

            Vice-Chair: Adam Dantzscher - RSYC

            Secretary: Rod Carr - MBBC

4. Club Contacts appointed:

                  LCYC - Walt Marti

                  MBBC - Geoff Halsted

                  VSC - Chris Duley

                  RSYC – Adam Dantzscher

5. The By-Laws Committee set up at the last meeting will meet March 5. They

    will make proposed changes to the By-Laws and present those changes at

    our next general meeting on March 18.

         Those proposed changes concern:

         A. Methodology used to arrive at a rating.

               B. Credit given for UV covers.

               C. The effect that carrying both an asymmetrical and symmetrical spinnaker

                   has on a rating.

               D. Unsportsmanlike conduct.

            6. John O’Rourke and Geoff Halsted agreed to revise the current LC-PHRF

                application form to meet our current needs.
